Shift Arcade Championship

The Shift Arcade Championship is the ultimate end-of-year event, bringing together the top drivers from across all Shift Arcade competitions for one final, high-stakes showdown.

Throughout the year, drivers earn championship points by competing in leagues, Time Attack challenges, and Hot Lap challenges. Points accumulate across events, rewarding consistency, performance, and commitment—not just one standout result.

Drivers qualify into the Championship through a tiered system, with top point earners earning priority placement and seeding. This ensures the final grid represents the strongest and most dedicated drivers of the season, while still allowing multiple paths to qualify.

The Championship itself is a premium, invite-only event featuring structured race formats, elite competition, and season-defining stakes. Winners take home top honors, prizes, and the title of Shift Arcade Champion.

Earn points. Climb the tiers. Race for the title.

HotLap Challenge

The Hot Lap Challenge is a fast, accessible way to compete at Shift Arcade, whether you’re chasing lap records or just want to test yourself against other drivers.

Each challenge features a selected car and track. Drivers aim to set the fastest clean lap, with times tracked on the leaderboard throughout the challenge period. You can participate during regular sessions, making it easy to jump in whenever you’re racing.

At the end of the challenge, the top three drivers earn prizes and championship points, moving them closer to qualification for the Shift Arcade Championship.

Simple to enter, competitive by nature, and open to all skill levels, the Hot Lap Challenge turns every lap into an opportunity to climb the rankings.

How to compete:

  1. Book a Race during the month and complete HotLaps on that month’s track.

  2. Monitor the HotLap Leaderboard to see how you place.

Formula Challenge

The Formula Challenge is a precision-focused racing series built around high-speed, open-wheel cars. Designed for drivers who enjoy technical driving and tight margins, this challenge rewards smooth inputs, consistency, and control.

Each Formula Challenge features competitive races using a selected formula car and circuit. Drivers earn points based on their finishing positions in each race, contributing to a season-long Drivers Championship leaderboard that tracks performance across the entire series.

Top performers earn prizes and championship points, with results contributing toward qualification for the Shift Arcade Championship at the end of the season.

Fast, demanding, and deeply competitive, the Formula Challenge crowns not only race winners—but the most consistent and skilled drivers of the season.

how to compete:

Leagues

How to Compete:

  1. Contact your local Shift Arcade for League Registration

The League is a team-based racing series designed for drivers who want consistent competition and progression. Teams of two compete across a six-week race season, earning points each week toward the overall standings.

The league begins with a one-week induction to get drivers familiar with the format, cars, and rules before championship racing begins. Throughout the season, teams battle for points, prizes, and qualification into the Shift Arcade Championship.

Structured, competitive, and community-driven, the Spring League is built for racers ready to commit, improve, and compete together.

Time Attack Challenge

The Time Attack Challenge is designed for drivers who want competitive racing on their own schedule. Perfect for solo racers or those who can’t commit to a league, this format lets you compete independently while still earning meaningful results.

Each challenge features the same car and track used in league competition, allowing solo drivers to measure themselves against league standards. Set your fastest lap, climb the leaderboard, and compete for a separate prize pool reserved exclusively for Time Attack participants.

Top performances earn championship points, keeping you in contention for end-of-season honors and qualification into the Shift Arcade Championship—no league commitment required.

Race when it suits you. Compete on equal terms. Earn your place at the top.

How to compete:

  1. Book a Race during the League Season and complete HotLaps on that season’s tracks.

  2. Monitor the Time Attack Challenge HotLap Leaderboards to see how you place.

  3. The top 10 Drivers per HotLap Leaderboard will place for points in the Time Attack Championship Leaderboard.

Community Events

Community Events are special, ad-hoc racing experiences that bring drivers together beyond regular leagues and challenges. These events may be hosted at a single Shift Arcade location, run as competitive matchups between Shift Arcade locations, or feature head-to-head events against other sim racing venues.

Formats, schedules, and eligibility vary by event, making each Community Event a unique opportunity to race, connect, and represent your location. Some events focus on friendly competition, while others raise the stakes with inter-venue rivalries and bragging rights on the line.

Because Community Events are scheduled as opportunities arise, drivers should always check their local Shift Arcade events calendar for details, dates, and registration information.

Unpredictable, social, and competitive, Community Events are where the broader Shift Arcade community comes together.
