Shift Arcade is a sim racing entertainment venue with a working model behind it: the brand, the simulators, the software, the events program and the membership that keeps people coming back. We're looking for owner-operators to open it in their own markets.

Sim racing gives a racer something to chase. A lap time is a score you can beat next week, which is a very different proposition from an evening out you do once and tick off. Shift Arcade packages that into a venue an operator can run, and the category is early enough that the good markets are still open.

What makes us unique

A premium room, professional-grade motion simulators, and a format that works for a first-timer and a hardened enthusiast in the same session. Racers race each other on real circuits in cars they'll never otherwise drive, and the whole room is laid out so that racing is something you do together.

The software

Shift Arcade runs on ShiftOS, our own operating system for sim racing venues. Reservations, events, memberships and driver performance tracking all sit in one platform, purpose-built for this business rather than bent into shape from a generic booking tool.

Apex Club events

Apex Club is the membership program, and it's the part of the model that turns one-off visits into a habit. Members get racing rates, early access to ticketed events and a monthly club night, and the venue gets recurring revenue and a calendar that fills itself.

The first sim racing franchise

Shift Arcade is the first dedicated sim racing franchise in the United States. Being first means the operating playbook was written from a real venue, and it means territory is still genuinely available.

Intro & unit economics

Start by telling us about yourself and the market you have in mind. We'll set up an introductory call, walk through how a Shift Arcade venue is put together and what running one looks like week to week, and answer whatever you want to ask. The brochure gives you the shape of it before we talk.

FDD review & Q&A

You receive the Franchise Disclosure Document. It's the document that sets out the franchise fee, the build-out, the obligations on both sides and the full terms, and by law it has to sit with you for a review period before anything is signed. We'll take you through it and answer questions for as long as you need.

Request for consideration

When you're ready to be considered seriously, you submit an RFC: your background, your market and how you'd approach the opening. This is the point where the conversation becomes a candidacy.

Territory mapping & Confirmation Day invite

We map your target market against the development territories that are still open, and talk through how you plan to fund and staff the venue. If both sides are still nodding, you're invited to Confirmation Day.

Confirmation Day

Held at Shift Arcade San Ramon, California. You see the venue running, meet the team, drive the simulators and get the last of your questions answered on the floor rather than over a call. Then both sides decide.
